📋 Configuration Sections
Crypto Configurations
Scalping Crypto (1m-5m)
Indicators: Volume Oracle + Harmonic Oscillator
Volume Oracle Settings:
- Strategy Mode: Trend Following
- Focus on: ⭐⭐⭐ signals only, meaning a score of 85 or above
- HTF Check: Enable (1H alignment)
- Risk Management: Configure risk amount
Harmonic Oscillator Settings:
- All default settings
- Read the status panel: TRENDING▲ or TRENDING▼ is a directional regime, BIAS is a lean, RANGING is sideways
- The vote count beside it (X/7) says how many of the seven components agree
- Watch for: TRENDING▲ or TRENDING▼ with a high vote count
- Stand aside on: RANGING
Chart Setup:
- Timeframe: 5m chart
- Levels: None (too cluttered for scalping)
- Volume below chart, Harmonic in separate panel
Day Trading Crypto (15m-1H) - THE TRINITY METHOD
Indicators: The Trinity (Pentarch + Janus + Volume Oracle)
Chart Setup:
- Primary: 1H chart (or 15m for faster pace)
- Secondary: Daily chart for context
- Clean visual: 6 levels maximum
Pentarch Settings:
- All defaults enabled
- Focus signals:
- TD (Touchdown) = Accumulation detected, unconfirmed until IGN
- IGN (Ignition) = The confirmation the TD was waiting for
- WRN (Warning) = Distribution detected, the cycle is late
- CAP (Climax) = Exhaustion detected, the cycle is at its end
- Ignore: BDN on crypto (less reliable due to 24/7 trading)
Janus Atlas Settings:
- Enable ONLY these 6 levels:
- Daily High
- Daily Low
- 4H High
- 4H Low
- Anchored VWAP (from major swing)
- Daily VWAP
- Disable: All session levels (crypto is 24/7, no sessions)
- Disable: Market structure labels (BOS/CHoCH too noisy on 15m-1H)
Volume Oracle Settings:
- Strategy Mode: Hybrid (adapts to crypto volatility)
- Focus on: ⭐⭐ and ⭐⭐⭐ signals
- Regime Detection: Green = Accumulation (longs), Red = Distribution (shorts)
- HTF Confirmation: Enable (4H alignment for 1H chart)
- Risk Management: Configure risk amount, use auto Entry/Stop/T1/T2
Common Workflow (reading three instruments on one bar):
Step 1: Pattern Recognition
- Traders typically scan the 1H chart for Pentarch TD signals
- Signal appearance: a purple TD label below the candle in the default palette
- Common interpretation: TD represents a "watch this area" signal rather than an immediate entry
Step 2: Level Confluence Analysis
- The analysis examines whether TD appeared at or near a Janus level
- Where the level context is thickest:
- TD at Daily Low + 4H Low (double level cluster)
- TD at Daily VWAP (often acts as magnet)
- TD at Anchored VWAP from major swing low
- Where it is thinnest: a TD in the middle of a range, with no level nearby to measure the distance against
Step 3: Volume Confirmation
- Volume Oracle regime analysis when TD printed
- Confirmation signals:
- Accumulation regime (green background)
- BULL signal with ⭐⭐ or ⭐⭐⭐ quality
- Lower-confidence signal: TD without regime confirmation tends to have reduced reliability
Step 4: Confirmation Event
- IGN event confirms TD validity (accumulation phase transition)
- Confirmation timing: IGN typically appears 1-4 bars after TD
- Context: TD candle provides reference point for analysis
Step 5: Cycle Monitoring
- Mid-cycle: WRN event indicates late-cycle conditions developing
- Cycle end: CAP event indicates markup-to-distribution transition
- Full cycle: TD → IGN → WRN → CAP represents complete accumulation-to-distribution cycle
A Worked Example: Reading the Sequence
(An illustration with round numbers, not a record of any real trade. Educational only. Not financial advice.)
Pentarch prints TD at $60,000, on the Daily Low.
Janus Atlas has the Daily Low and the 4H Low within $100 of each other there.
Volume Oracle shows an Accumulation regime at 70% with a BULL signal at 2 stars.
IGN prints three bars later at $60,600.
Entry $60,600 on 1 BTC
Stop $60,000 -- $600 at risk, 1.0% of the entry price
WRN prints at $63,000 -> half the position closes, +$1,200
CAP prints at $64,200 -> the rest closes, +$1,800
Total +$3,000, which is 5.0% of the entry price and five times the amount risked.
Observations from Experienced Traders:
- Timing: around the major liquidity events (US market open, Asia open) the events are described as clearer
- Quiet periods: weekends and low-volume hours are described as producing more events that do not hold
- Confluence value: Combining multiple confirmation factors (Pentarch + Janus + Volume) is commonly emphasized
- Confirmation approach: Traders often prioritize setups where multiple factors align
Common Patterns Observed:
- TD without IGN → a TD that never gets its IGN is the phase transition that did not happen
- TDs without level support → TDs in middle of range tend to be less reliable
- Volume correlation → Regime confirmation is frequently cited as an important confirmation factor
- Reading past CAP → CAP is where the instrument says the cycle is exhausted, so anything read after it is being read against the indicator
- Level overload → past about eight Janus levels the chart stops telling you anything
Asset-Specific Notes:
- BTC/ETH: Generally produce cleaner signals, commonly recommended for initial learning
- Altcoins: Higher volatility characteristics; stop distances commonly widened to 4-6%
- Low-cap coins: Generally avoided until proficiency is developed with major assets (increased choppiness)

Augury Grid Settings:
- Pick a preset of 7 crypto symbols, or set your own seven
- Three timeframes run at once, so seven symbols give you 21 scans
- Read the grid top down: it ranks what it finds by score

Chart Setup:
- Primary: 15m chart (sweet spot for stocks)
- Alternative: 5m for faster scalps, 1H for swing day trades
- Monitor: SPY on second monitor for market context
Pentarch Settings:
- Chart: 15m, or 1H for fewer events computed on longer bars
- All defaults enabled
- Prime trading window: 9:30am-11:30am ET (opening range) and 2:30pm-4pm ET (power hour)
- Signals:
- TD = Reversal potential at key levels
- IGN = Confirmation of the preceding TD
- WRN = Distribution detected, the cycle is late
- CAP = Exhaustion detected
- BDN = Decline initiated, the cycle has turned over
Janus Atlas Settings - 8 Key Levels for Stocks:
- Previous Close (Frequently cited as highly significant for stocks)
- Daily High
- Daily Low
- Premarket High
- Premarket Low
- Opening Range High (9:30am-10am high)
- Opening Range Low
- Daily VWAP
Optional (9-10 if needed):
- 4H High/Low (for swing trades)
- Weekly VWAP (major trend guide)
Market Structure:
- Enable: BOS (Break of Structure) and CHoCH (Change of Character)
- Why: Stocks have cleaner market structure than crypto
- Use: BOS confirms trend continuation, CHoCH warns of reversal
Volume Oracle Settings:
- Leave the five backend systems to run as they do; they have no switch
- Strategy Mode: Hybrid (adapts to conditions)
- Regime Detection: Green = Accumulation, Red = Distribution
- Signal Quality: Focus on ⭐⭐ and ⭐⭐⭐ signals
- Risk Management: Configure risk amount for auto position sizing
Common Workflow (Professional Day Trading Approach):
Pre-Market Preparation (8:00am-9:30am ET):
- Traders commonly identify Premarket High/Low using Janus Atlas
- Previous Close is noted; price often works back toward it during the session
- SPY direction is observed (uptrend favors longs, downtrend favors shorts, sideways suggests waiting)
- Opening Range levels are tracked when market opens (9:30am-10am range)
Step 1: Setup Recognition (9:45am-11:30am)
- Opening volatility typically settles after the first 15 minutes
- Traders commonly watch for: Pentarch TD at these key levels:
- Previous Close, the level stock traders watch most closely
- Opening Range High/Low
- Premarket High/Low
- Daily VWAP (particularly in ranging conditions)
Step 2: The 4-Factor Confluence Analysis
- Factor 1: Pentarch TD signal appears
- Factor 2: TD occurs at a Janus level (within 0.5%)
- Factor 3: Volume Oracle shows an Accumulation or Distribution regime matching the direction
- Factor 4: SPY confirms directional bias (market correlation)
- Observation: Setups with all 4 factors aligning are commonly prioritized by experienced users
Step 3: Confirmation Event
- IGN event (usually 1-4 candles after TD) confirms phase transition
- Confluence check: IGN at Janus level = structural + timing confluence
- Context reference: TD candle provides structural reference for analysis
Step 4: Cycle Monitoring
- At WRN: Late-cycle conditions developing
- At CAP: Distribution phase detected
- Post-CAP: Watch for BDN to confirm cycle completion
- Rationale: Each of the three marks a distinct stage, so reading them in order tells you where in the cycle the chart is
A Worked Example: The Morning Session
(An illustration with round numbers, not a record of any real session. Educational only. Not financial advice.)
A $100 stock. Previous close $100.00, premarket high $100.60, premarket low $99.40.
09:55 Pentarch prints TD at $100.00, right on the previous close.
Janus Atlas has the previous close and the Daily VWAP within ten cents of each other.
Volume Oracle shows an Accumulation regime at 72% with a BULL signal at 3 stars.
10:10 IGN prints at $100.20.
Entry $100.20 on 2,000 shares
Stop $99.95 -- $500 at risk
10:45 WRN at $100.80 -> 1,000 shares close, +$600. Stop moves to the entry.
11:20 CAP at $101.20 -> 500 shares close, +$500.
12:30 The trailing stop takes the last 500 shares at $101.40, +$600.
Total +$1,700 against $500 at risk.
Power Hour (2:30pm-4pm ET) Observations:
- Setup similarities: Same confluence analysis as morning, using Opening Range levels + Previous Close
- A pattern readers note: a TD at the Previous Close during the last hour, which they read as repositioning
- Session-end timing: Many intraday users close positions by 3:55pm to avoid overnight gap risk
Observations from Experienced Stock Day Traders:
- Previous Close significance - a TD landing on the Previous Close is a cycle event on a level rather than in open space
- Market correlation - Aligning with SPY direction is commonly cited as beneficial
- Volume threshold - Stocks averaging <1M shares/day tend to have wider spreads and increased slippage
- Opening Range relevance - First hour high/low commonly acts as support/resistance throughout the session
- Mid-day patterns - 11:30am-2pm period often shows reduced volume and tighter ranges
Common Patterns Observed:
- Low-volume stocks → Stocks averaging <1M volume/day show increased slippage and false signals
- SPY divergence → Trading against SPY direction tends to produce less favorable outcomes
- Previous Close dynamics → Fading Previous Close (trading against it) tends to underperform
- Market structure signals → BOS/CHoCH patterns often provide early reversal warnings
- Overnight holding → Gap risk increases when holding past 4pm (unless intentionally swing trading)
Commonly Recommended Learning Progression:
- Initial learning phase: SPY, QQQ, AAPL, MSFT, TSLA tend to offer high liquidity and cleaner signals
- Generally avoided initially: Penny stocks, stocks <$10, or issues with <500K avg volume (higher risk characteristics)
- Intermediate phase: Individual stocks with catalysts (earnings, news, unusual volume)
Common Risk Management Approaches:
- Position limit: Maximum 3 simultaneous positions is a common practice
- Alert volume: the wizard can cap how many alerts fire per session, which is a setting rather than a rule
- After a run of readings that did not describe what followed, many users pause to review their setup
- Position averaging: Adding to losing positions tends to increase risk exposure significantly
